High-Resolution Recording and Streaming

The VC-Z4K features a 1/2.8" 8.29MP Sony CMOS sensor, which enables up to UHD 4K30 recording over USB and simultaneous 1080p 60 dual streams over SDI. The 12x optical zoom ensures optimal coverage in classrooms, places of worship, and other spaces within small institutions with its 70.9-6.5° field of view. Its coverage is further bolstered by its high-resolution sensor to a 15x digital zoom, while still retaining detail. The 2D/3D noise reduction ensures clarity in all kinds of lighting conditions, and efficient H.264/H.265 video compression delivers optimal image quality, even over low-bandwidth connections.

Pan, Tilt, and Zoom with AI-Powered Tracking

In addition to its robust zoom capabilities, the VC-Z4K has 340° of pan and 120° of tilt for maximum coverage of the scene. Combined with its AI-powered tracking features, users and organizations can save on additional personnel to control pan, tilt, and zoom during remote sessions. Automatically follow the speaker�s movements and whiteboard content with real-time and zone tracking functionality. Zone tracking gives users the option to set tracking zones to maintain focus during dynamic presentations within designated areas. Presenter tracking automatically tracks and zooms into the presenter, making it ideal for recording or livestreaming presentations and meetings. Included is an infrared remote allowing presenters to switch between tracking modes and ten preset angles on the fly. For advanced setups, users can access up to 255 configurable positions through the web control interface, assuring ideal coverage for diverse use cases.

Connectivity and Compatibility

There are four video outputs on the back of the camera including HDMI, SDI, wired LAN with Power over Ethernet support, and USB 3.0 to ensure compatibility with Windows and Mac machines. Adjacent is a line input for audio, RS-232 input and output ports, and a RS-422 port that is compatible with the RS-485 standard to easily integrate into legacy wired control configurations.

The VC-Z4K can connect to streaming servers via the network, making it ideal for broadcast integration. It is compatible with most network control protocols including ONVIF, RTSP, RTMP, VISCA over IP, SRT, and more. On top of H.264/H.265 video compression, YUY2, MJPEG, and NV12 encoding are also supported to suit numerous platforms and deliveries. For video conferencing, this camera integrates seamlessly with software such as Microsoft Teams, Skype, Zoom, Google Meet, and more. For streamers and content creators, the camera connects with popular platforms such as OBS and YouTube.
