Vaxis Storm 800 Overview
Featuring both 3G-SDI and HDMI connections, the Storm 800 Wireless Transmission System from Vaxis enables transmitting visually lossless, uncompressed video signals to the Vaxis receiver with virtually zero latency. The transmitter sends a powerful line-of-sight signal up to 853' away.
Versatile I/O
The transmitter features one 3G-SDI input, one 3G-SDI loop output, and one HDMI input, while the receiver has one HDMI output and two 3G-SDI outputs.
Power Options
The units can be powered using the integrated 2-pin LEMO connector, and each unit has a micro-USB power input port as well. In addition, the receiver features an integrated V-mount battery plate, and the transmitter features a built-in L-series/NP-F battery plate.
Manual Frequency Selection
The Storm 800 offers 20 channels using the 20 and 40 MHz bands, allowing you to find a clean channel to use. This also allows you to work with multiple pairs of Vaxis Storm transmitters and receivers without interfering with each other's signals.
Compatibility
The transmitter supports multicasting to multiple receivers, and in addition, the Storm 800 is compatible with all Storm systems, including the 072 PRO, 058 PRO, and CINE 8.
