Saramonic SR-UC201 Overview
The 3" Saramonic SR-UC201 adapter cable allows you to connect a microphone equipped with a 3.5mm TRS output connector to the TRRS headphone jack of a smartphone or tablet.
The SR-UC201 features gold-plated connectors to maintain audio quality. It is compatible with both iOS and Android devices and can be used with Saramonic on-camera microphones as well as mics from other manufacturers.
The cable is terminated with a 3.5mm TRS female connector at one end and a 3.5mm TRRS male connector at the other.

Works Great!
I use this TRS to TRRS adapter to stream DJ Sets live online via my iPhone. The cable does exactly what it's supposed to do. If you're in need of a may to attach a mic or audio output to a smart device - this is a great and cost effective way to meet that need.

bought to plug a mic into a mac. it works... i opted not to get the version with a headphone splitter because we wont use headphones (or if we do they are bluetooth), but unfortunately the mac forces you to use some form of external bluetooth headphone or speaker to hear and kills the option for internal speakers when this is plugged in. So we have the mic and a speaker to make it work... just be forewarned...
