Ruggard EDC Overview
Protect cameras, lenses, photographic and optical equipment, mobile electronics, and other valuables from excessive moisture, dirt, and dust with the Ruggard EDC-600LC Electronic Dry Cabinet with Dual Humidity Zones. The cabinet's fast-acting TE Cooling Wafer regulates the interior's relative humidity from 60-35% to help prevent fungus and corrosion that can damage delicate gear and other sensitive materials. Humidity adjustments take place over a 1- to 3-hour period.
The large LCD screen displays ambient temperature (in Fahrenheit or Celsius), and the relative humidity. The cabinet is gasket-sealed to maintain humidity levels.
This cabinet features an upper cabinet and lower cabinet with independently set relative humidity levels. Each cabinet has an independent control panel with LCD display and power switch for that zone, which allows equipment and materials with different humidity requirements to be simultaneously stored in the same cabinet.
Each door features a three-digit combination lock to keep the cabinet contents safe and secure, and prevent unauthorized access to your equipment. The easy-to-use combination locks allows you to set a three-digit combination, with over 900 possible combinations per lock.
The Electronic Dry Cabinet has no fan or compressor to make noise, so it provides silent operation. It is also dripless, eliminating the need for a messy water tray that requires draining. The cabinet is powered by an included multi-voltage power supply.
