Works Great
After experiencing how well LensCoat lens covers work for my 200-600mm, I picked one up for this lens. The fit incredibly well and provide that extra-level of protection, while also making you look important when not in the field! Highly recommend these covers
Great padded protection
I got this one because I bought the same for the 200-600mm lens. Why I used to hunt and go berserk over camo for certain seasons, now I shoot with the camera. I like the real tree system for both lenses. The switches and buttons are still accessible, but not in the cold when you're wearing thin gloves...you need your fingertip to activate switches through the plastic window. Rings still turn great...just adjust the neoprene to ensure no drag against the neighboring pieces. My only issue (which is trivial) is the small arc cutout for the white locator pin used to attach the lens to the body is not large enough to see the pin; however, you know where it is based on the small arc itself. Or, get out your scissors and cut a bigger arc!
