Kase 1123000012 Overview
Specially designed for compact digital cameras, the 45mm Skyeye Magnetic Black Mist 1/4 Filter from Kase helps to reduce the value of the highlights while slightly lowering the overall contrast, useful for smoothing out and softening facial wrinkles and other blemishes. While designed for use with movies, this filter can also be used for fashion and beauty applications. It adds a pastel, cinematic tone to still and video images. Unlike a traditional diffusion or soft focus filter, mist filters provide little loss of detail across the image.
This filter is made of optical glass and features multicoating for optimal sharpness, light transmission, and the reduction of flare. The coating is also water resistant, as well as resistant to scratches and minor abrasions, making it ideal for use on location in harsh environments. Designed to work with compact digital cameras, the magnetic adapter has a 3M adhesive to attach it to the lens. The Skyeye magnetic stacking system allows up to four magnetic filters to be stacked for combined effects.
