    Weak and Untrustworthy

Picked up these legs primarily for operating a tech station on location. Never ended up using for that purpose because the top attachment popped off with a manfrotto head and camera/lens attached. In addition to this major malfunction, the legs do not stay locked unless you REALLY crank on the twist locks. Its light, compact and pretty but if you plan on mounting anything expensive, I'd rethink this purchase.

    Mixed bag (mostly very good)

For the most part, an enjoyable tripod to carry and use. The tactile feedback of the twist locks is very nice, but also a reason I am marking this down. The feedback is slightly out, so the point where you feel the click is not the same point that the leg is unlocked/locked. On one of the legs this is a good half-turn out of place. So I can twist two legs, feel the feedback, and know the leg is ready to extend. On the third I can twist until that same point, feel the feedback, and then have to half turn again to actually unlock the leg. Apart from that though, it is a very likable tripod at a very good price for what it is.

I was looking for a light weight tripod to fill in for my Manfrotto 3021. This should work for what I need and the price is right.

Purchased this tripod to use in addition to my heavy aluminum Induro tripod. This tripod is used mainly for landscaped photography. As Iâm getting older, lighter equipment is getting more and more important. This tripod weighs under 3 pounds and 3.5 pounds when topped with a very nice Sirui G20X ballhead. This is a very nice setup to pack around. This tripod also has spiked feet when needed. A nice feature also. All in all, a nice light tripod to carry around for landscape or wildlife photography.

Good but with some small quirks

The tripod arrived promptly. Generally a good tripod. My only gripe is that the steel spikes cannot be removed to replace the spikes and baskets when I used them as trekking poles, since this is the main selling point of this tripod, that there is too detachable legs to be used as trekking poles.
