DOD CHTHONIC Overview
Create fat and sludgy fuzz tones with the Chthonic Fuzz from DOD, a special fuzz pedal with a dark character ideal for use with bright amps and guitar pickups such as single-coil, P90, gold-foil, and DeArmond pickups. With subtle tone control via the Lustre knob, you can reduce high frequencies in the fuzz while retaining picking attack.
Along with Lustre, you get a Fuzz knob, which acts as a gain control for the clipping circuit, allowing you to adjust the fuzz intensity, and an Output knob for controlling the overall output level of the pedal. While delivering an unusual and extradimensional fuzz tone, Chthonic Fuzz works much like classic fuzzes of the past, cleaning up considerably as you reduce the volume knob on your guitar body. And with a durable metal chassis adorned with stylish Kraken and Cthulhu graphics, Chthonic Fuzz will survive the test of time and stand out on your pedalboard.
Rolling the guitar volume to 5 will yield sparkling clean tones. Chthonic reacts to the capacitance of longer cables, so you will gain benefits by using a shorter connecting cable to the input.Â
