The Electro-Harmonix Nano Metal Muff is an aggressive distortion pedal that fits easily onto your pedalboard. The pedal is geared for players who crave the ultimate in aggressive distortion. Built into the stompbox is a noise gate to cut off unwanted hum when you're not playing. This feature, combined with a powerful tone-shaping EQ section, makes the pedal adept at giving you a versatile array of heavy, distorted sounds.
The EQ gives you miles of bass, mids, and treble to tweak, and you can adjust both the volume and distortion as needed. Voiced for heavy metal players in particular, the pedal runs off an included 9V battery, though a power supply can be purchased separately.
