Darkglass Electronics Microtubes X Multiband Bass Distortion Pedal

The Microtubes X from Darkglass is a flexible pedal that allows musicians, producers, and engineers to selectively distort only the high-end frequencies on your bass guitar, while leaving the low-end clean and undistorted. This lightweight and compact pedal uses sophisticated parallel processing to split the signal into two separate frequency ranges for processing before mixing them back together at the output stage. Simply connect your instrument or the output from your pedalboard to the 1/4" mono jack, and connect from the 1/4" output jack to the input of your amplifier or another effects pedal. The Microtubes X requires a regulated 9 VDC adapter with a center-negative plug.

High-Pass Frequency

Controls the cutoff frequency to be distorted, ranging from 100 Hz (for thicker, fuzzier saturation) to 1 kHz for ultra-sharp definition

Low-Pass Frequency

Controls the cutoff frequency to be mixed back to the high-pass side�ranging from 50 Hz, for sub-bass, to 500 Hz, to preserve some clean mids

Level

Sets the overall output volume of the unit

Drive

Sets the amount of distortion for the high-pass side

Mix

Sets the blend between low-pass and high-pass signals

Mids

Active mid control placed after the Mix control; +/-12 dB at 500 Hz
