D.A.S. Audio ALTEA-408A Overview
Ideal for use as a stage monitor or as part of a PA system, the D.A.S. Audio ALTEA-408A is an active portable loudspeaker sporting a 2-way design with an 8" low-mid driver, a 1" HF compression driver, and a 400W RMS Class-D amplifier. With 24-bit DSP built in and an intuitive LCD screen with a simple rotary knob, you can access adjustable voicing, filter, and 3-band EQ control.
The ALTEA-408A provides a balanced 90 x 90? coverage. Two XLR-1/4" combo input jacks are provided, along with an XLR 3-pin thru jack and a stereo 3.5mm aux input. Each of the two channels gets a dedicated volume control, and the main rotary knob can be used for master volume or pushed for access to DSP settings. The lightweight polypropylene enclosure is easy to carry thanks to the integrated handle, and the trapezoidal shape makes it ideal for laying flat on a stage. The enclosure also sports M8 rigging points for mounting. The ALTEA-408A features a universal switching internal power supply for global compatibility.
