WesAudio NG76 Overview
Audio professionals in search of the ultimate stereo 1176 compressor with full digital recall will be thrilled with the WesAudio ng76 Pair, a stereo matched pair of 100% analog 1176-style FET compressor with Carnhill transformers well suited for mixing and mastering. The ng76 Pair features the classic controls you'd come to expect, including Input, Output, Attack, and Release, as well as a Mix control for onboard parallel compression. There are four ration settings (4:1, 8:1, 12:1, 20:1) with all possible combinations, including the infamous "ALL" button mode.
The ng76 can also function as a saturation box / clipper. When switching to saturation mode, the FET is reconfigured to produce more distortion. When it comes to digital integration, ng76 is high-tech with USB/Ethernet connectivity and recall and plug-in control. Draw automation in the DAW and ng76 will react accordingly.
- Unit is available in stereo pairs, precisely matched in the factory to use as one dual channel unit through dedicated software
- Additional cables for detector linking included in the box (2 pcs)
- Units are fully calibrated to operate in stereo using stereo plugin
- All parameters are fully linked using dedicated software: change of one channel will mediate the update to the linked unit
