The MiniCMIT Miniature Shotgun Microphone from Schoeps is a microphone that offers the characteristics of a CMIT 5 in more compact form. It can be used to capture audio in various environments such as for instruments, singers, speakers, and more.
The MiniCMIT like the CMIT5 both have an identical frequency-response curve and are powered with P12 & P48 phantom power. Either microphone can be interchanged without altering the sound. In addition, the MiniCMIT has a fixed 4th order low-cut filter at 70 Hz. The MiniCMIT microphone includes a foam windshield, and a stand clamp with a swivel SG 20 mount.
