Accurate and worthy
Small piece but essential to get the performance expected for my video department and the video cameras we use.
Does its job, but not for EVFs.
I got this initially to mount an EVF onto a rig. Simple and elegant is the way to go, right? Initially, that works fine. Just be cautious because the screw mount will come loose if what you're mounting twists much (like an EVF). Unfortunately for me, it got enough abuse that the threads on the spud got stripped. Mounting anything else should be fine, though, so long as it doesn't twist very much if at all. And as with all Redrock Micro products, it's superb in quality. You just have to pay quite a penny for it.

Perfect adaptable mounting point
Purchased this so I could have an adaptable mounting point for a monitor, mic, etc. It's well built (hence the price) and well designed. Couldn't be happier with it!
Simple and effective
Albeit pricey, the micromount works perfectly. I use one on my shoulder mount for a monitor and it is great. The ability to adjust on two axis is a must and the ability to remove the threaded plug makes for quick and easy changes to equipment.
