The Point Source Audio CM-i3-4M Intercom Headset with XLR-4M Connector is a modular intercom headset designed for concert venues, front-of-house operations, multimedia production, and other professional trades that rely on convenient two-way communication systems. The headset allows for three different listening modes. Instead of having to remove the entire headset to check sounds in the environment, the user can simply remove one or both of the earphones. The headset comes with an XLR-4M connector, which is suitable for RTS mono systems.

For modularity, the headset feature the company's EM-X in-earphones, which can be switched with earphones of the user's choice. The flexibility also extends the serviceability and lifetime of the product. The headset has a boom with a moving-coil dynamic element with a cardioid pattern and a frequency response of 200 to 10 kHz. The earphones feature a single-driver ported design and come with three sizes of eartips, a windscreen with an o-ring, and a custom storage case.
