The Story

The KMI series IEC Mineral Insulated Thermocouples. 310 stainless steel models have good corrosion and oxidation resistance to suit a wide range of processes, satisfactorily operates in sulphur bearing atmosphere and typical applications include brick & cement klins, glass industry, heat treatment & annealing furnaces power stations, flues, heat exchangers etc. Inconel® Alloy 600 sheath models have excellent oxidation resistance to 1100°C and typical applications include heat treatment processes, annealing furnaces, chemical reactors, man-made fibre and synthetic fibre production, steam boilers, paper industry etc.
  • Mineral insulated type K or N thermocouple
  • Choice of 310 stainless steel or Inconel® alloy 600 sheath
  • Highly flexible, sheath can be bent/formed to suit many applications and processes
  • Insulated hot junction
  • Probe temperature range -40°C to 1100°C
  • M8 x 1mm fine pitch threaded pot seal (200°C)
  • 100mm Tails
  • PFA twin twisted 7/0.2mm
  • Colour coded to IEC 584
