Created to withstand the sidelines of NFL games, the Klover MiK 26 Tactical Parabolic Microphone Dish Assembly turns your omnidirectional mic into a long-range microphone capable of capturing conversations at a range up to 600'�with stunning clarity. The Tactical model features a modified front flange that enables it to fit in a smaller waterproof case for easy transport.
The 26" Klover MiK 26 Tactical is the company's largest parabolic dish assembly. It is compatible with lavalier mics up to 0.3" / 8mm in diameter and small-diaphragm microphone 0.75" / 1.9 cm to 0.87" / 2.2cm in diameter. Engineered for the toughest conditions, the MiK 26 Tactical is constructed of carbon fiber reinforced with continuous Kevlar fibers, which greatly enhance the strength and durability of the components. While the MiK 26 Tactical is a staple in the broadcast industry�seen every weekend on the sidelines of professional football games�it can also be used for military/tactical uses as well as fire and rescue applications.
- These two models are functionally equivalent and offer the same audio performance. The only difference between them is the shape of the flat flange on the front surface of the parabolic dish.
- The shape of the Tactical model allows the dish to be rotated slightly to fit within a waterproof (Pelican-style) shipping case. It also allows the unit to fit in a slightly smaller shipping container, which reduces its shipping cost.
- Made from ballistics-grade plastic, Klover's stiff, highly reflective dish material provides a fuller audio signal.
- The top flange is designed to attach the transmitter to the top of the dish for better signal strength.
- Specialty vibration-isolation bushings on all attachments and handles eliminate noise that may come from an operator�s movement.
- With quick-release connectors for every attachment (even the neck strap), the Klover MiK 26 is fast and easy to set up.
- Unlike brittle PVC parts that creates sharp, spear-like edges if broken, or metal parts that can also cause serious injury to the operator and athlete, the Klover MiK 26's carbon fiber parts crush upon impact.
- All protruding studs have also been removed from the front of the dish.
- Attachments such as microphone yokes and handles are designed to be interchangeable, so you can customize your Klover MiK 26 for different jobs and easily replace damaged parts.
- The dish is designed to be safely stacked without scratching the critical internal surface.
