The Story

JAI FS-1600T-10GE-NNM Overview

The 1.6MP Fusion Series Multispectral Camera from JAI is a powerful 3-CMOS sensor, prism-based multispectral camera. It is designed to deliver simultaneous images of different spectral bands with a visible color channel from 400-670 nm, a near infrared (NIR) channel from 700-800 nm, and a second NIR channel from 820-1000 nm. Boasting an effective pixel resolution of 1440 x 1080 and a maximum frame rate of 213 fps, the camera has a C-mount lens mount and is ideal for the inspection of surface properties and sub-surface defects in the target subjects when combined across both NIR bands or within a single NIR band. It is equipped with a backwards-compatible 10 GigE Vision interface with dual-stream output for optimal networking flexibility, speed, and overall performance.

Simultaneous 3-Channel Multispectral Imaging
With a monochrome channel and two separate NIR channels, the camera helps designers of multispectral systems to leverage the different way that some biological substances, foods, chemicals, and other materials appear when viewed in different portions of the visible/NIR spectrum.
Replaces Multiple Inspection Stations with a Single Setup
The camera's prism technology ensures perfect two-channel alignment, allowing users to replace multiple inspection stations with a single setup, providing both ease of use and lower equipment and maintenance costs.
Individual Exposure Time Adjustment for Each Channel
Separate exposure control for each channel allows the channels to be adjusted to one another without changes in the gain, maintaining a consistent signal-to-noise ratio at all times.
