The IR623-PoE-2 Series 850nm Long Range IR Illuminator (160�, 100 x 50�) from Iluminar offers IR lighting for video surveillance systems. The unit covers multiple scenes up to a distance of 160'. With an IP67 rating, it is vandal proof and can be used indoors and outdoors. The anodized aluminum housing provides protection from harsh weather conditions. This illuminator has no hot spots, a wide emission angle at long range, and avoids attracting insects that obscure a camera's view. IR illumination is an ideal source of illumination for security cameras, as it is invisible to the human eye but visible to night vision cameras. It also avoids problems caused by light pollution and has a longer range than visible light.
