The IDX X-Tap DC Cable with Bare Leads for 7.4V Accessories features a connector design that helps prevent reversing the plug when connecting to power. This enables you to power your 7.4 VDC equipment, while protecting it from damage caused by reverse polarity from an improperly inserted plug. It works with SSL-JVC75, SL-BVD64, SL-BVD96 batteries and devices with an X-Tap connector.

The connector features molded positive and negative indications on the connector, which correspond to the red and black leads. A third lead, white, is available for future use. You can solder your own 7.4 VDC connector to the bare ends to power your accessories, and the clearly delineated positive and negative connections help you maintain proper polarity.
