D'Addario EHSP-1-BUNDLE Overview
Open up a new universe of sonic possibilities for your acoustic drum kit with the EVANS Hybrid Sensory Percussion Sound System from D'Addario, a hardware and software kit that uses sensors, not triggers, to provide detailed 10-zone playing per drum with control over speed, velocity and timbre. Compatible with any snare, tom, or kick drum, this system provides the customization and control of a trigger system with the freedom and expressive detail of an acoustic kit.
The system consists of three durable, road-worthy composite drum sensors with 12 pickup elements�pickup elements are targets applied to your drums for the sensors to detect. Once the pickup elements are installed on a drum (between two lugs), the sensor can be mounted above it, allowing for sophisticated capture of your dynamic performance. The sensors are plugged into the included Portal audio interface via 3.5mm TRS cables, and the interface sports plenty of I/O and controls for it to be used as a standalone audio interface when not drumming. With the Sensory Percussion software, everything can be controlled, including FX, drum zones, I/O routing, and much more. This system includes the Portal audio interface, three drum sensors, 12 pickup elements, the EMAD bass drum adapter, a pair of limited-edition ProMark drum sticks, three special 3.5mm TRS cables for the sensors, and one USB-C cable.
