So light you'll barely know it's there, the Coast FL1R Rechargeable Headlamp gives you the choice of two white-light brightness levels, plus a red light mode that won't disturb darkness-acclimated vision. You can remove the lamp from the headband and clip it to a hat, pocket, belt, or strap. Recharging is as easy as plugging the USB cable into the Coast ProTek charging port. The lamp will run a total of 1.5 to 3.8 hours on a charge, depending on brightness levels used, and there's a lockout function to prevent the light from being turned on accidentally in your pack. The lamp tilts so you can point the beam right where you need it, and the FL1R is rated IP54 rain- and splash-proof.
