Carlsbro CSD400 Overview
A natural choice for anyone looking to save space in the studio without sacrificing acoustic precision, the CSD400 from Carlsbro is a five-piece, eight pad, electronic drum kit that is compact, easy to transport, and great for recording sessions or live performances. The kit sports the Commander 400 sound module, which provides 29 presets, 12 user memory slots, 358 instruments, and recording and playback functions for storing rough ideas or improving your performances.
The drum module hosts a number of connections, including an aux input for playing along to your favorite songs or backing tracks, MIDI 5-pin DIN I/O, a USB MIDI interface, a line out for sending your drum sounds to an amp, and a headphone out for listening to your performances. The sturdy 4-legged drum rack holds one 10" dual-zone snare pad, three 8" dual-zone tom pads, a pedal-controlled 10" hi-hat pad, and two 10" crash/ride pads with choke control, while kick drum duties are served by an 8" mesh bass drum pad and kick pedal. All pads can be adjusted with real drum keys to suit the player's preferred acoustic head tension, and the kit also comes with a pair of drumsticks and a drumstick clip holder to get you started.
