The Story

Product Overview

ADA4610-2 is a dual channel, precision junction field effect transistor (JFET) amplifier. It features low input noise voltage, current noise, offset voltage, input bias current, and rail-to rail output. The combination of low offset, noise, and very low input bias current makes this amplifier especially suitable for high impedance sensor amplification and precise current measurements using shunts. With excellent dc precision, low noise, and fast settling time, it provides superior accuracy in medical instruments, electronic measurement, and automated test equipment. It maintains fast settling performance with substantial capacitive loads. It does not suffer from output phase reversal when input voltages exceed the maximum common-mode voltage range. It is widely used in application such as instrumentation, medical instruments, multipole filters, precision current measurement, photodiode amplifiers, sensors, audio etc.

  • Low offset voltage is 1mV maximum, unity-gain stable
  • Offset voltage drift is 1µV/°C at (VSY = ±5V, VCM = 0V, TA = 25°C)
  • Temperature hysteresis is 8µV typical, gain bandwidth is 15.4MHz
  • Low input bias current is 5pA typical, supply current per amplifier is 1.85mA
  • Dual-supply operation is ±5V to ±15V
