Alpine Astronomical UFC-1 Overview
Part of the Universal Filter Changer (UFC) system, the Alpine Astronomical Baader UFC 1.25" Aux Mounted Filter Holder is designed to allow the use of conventional 1.25" eyepiece filters in the UFC filter baseļæ½enabling quick and easy filter changes during multiple exposure astrophotography sessions without having to disassemble your imaging rig.
Ideal for those who are getting started with advanced astrophotography and imaging techniques, the advantage of this filter holder is that you are able to use all of your observation filters with your imaging rig so there is no need to invest in other filters just yet. Your filter simply screws into this holder, which in turn mounts into a UFC D50 slider for round and unmounted 50.4mm filters, which then gets inserted into the UFC filter base. This is the filter holder only; the UFC D50 slider, filter base, and eyepiece filters are all required for use.
